Update: Charges Filed In Fatal Crash

The woman driving a vehicle that turned in front of a motorcycle causing a fatal accident will face criminal charges.

The crash happened near 156th and Chandler July 12th, a local bar and restaurant owner, 27-year-old Kyle Magwire was killed.

According to investigators, Magwire was northbound on 156th Street when it hit a Toyota Corolla that was turning left on to Chandler. The impact caused the motorcycle to go airborne. It slid down the road and hit a Honda CRV.

Magwire was taken to the hospital by medical helicopter and pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Alegent Creighton University Medical Center.

The drivers of the Honda, 76-year-old Janice Roll has been charged with misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide and failure to yield.

She is scheduled in court later this month.
