University Of Nebraska Team To Help With NASA Experiments

A team of University of Nebraska-Lincoln engineering students is preparing to help NASA conduct research in a reduced-gravity environment.

The students will spend July 26th through August 3rd at NASA's Microgravity University in Houston.

This is the sixth consecutive year that UNL students are participating in the program. The NASA university conducts research that helps the U.S. space program. Projects are prepared by students with mentoring from NASA and industry representatives.

Tests are then conducted during "Flight Week" aboard a series of parabolic flights that give the experience of near-weightlessness.
