For the last 10 years, the Union Pacific Railroad Museum has brought new life and a first-class experience to travelers and locals alike. In honor of this milestone, the museum invites the community to join in the 10th anniversary celebration on May 11th.
The anniversary celebration will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with giveaways at the door for the first 100 families. Volunteers in period dress will be handing out temporary tattoos and doing face painting.
Union Pacific’s Mini-Train will also be on display at the museum. The UP Museum celebration is in conjunction with the annual Chipper’s Spring Adventure community events.
The Union Pacific Railroad Museum, located at 200 Pearl Street in Council Bluffs, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is free.
