Omaha police say a stabbing victim and his girlfriend are making things difficult as they investigate the crime. Neither one is cooperating with police as they sort out what happened.
Here’s what we do know: About 1:15 a.m. Thursday, police were called to Alina Warner’s home near 61st and Ames. They found Clifford McKing suffering from an apparent stab wound. McKing would not tell police how it happened, where it happened or who did it.
He was taken to Creighton University Medical Center with a non-life threatening wound. When police attempted to interview Warner, they say she was uncooperative and continued to cause a disturbance. She was arrested for disorderly conduct and an unrelated misdemeanor warrant.
