Omaha police responded to a report of an assault Sunday night and found one victim who said two men attacked him at Woolworth Avenue & Park Avenue. The victim, who turns 32 years old this Friday, is identified as Jose Aparecido-DeSousa.
Police say one of the suspects cut Aparecido-DeSousa with a broken bottle. The victim required two stitches. Police were able to locate two suspects and arrest them for assault.
They are identified as 35-year old Jesus Soto-Ontiveros and 44-year old Manuel Dial-Montenegro. Records show the victim and one of the suspects, Soto-Ontiveros, live at the same address but different apartments at 2940 Woolworth.
