The owner of an Omaha liquor store tells Channel 6 News she’s been was robbed three times in the past week.
The latest crime occurred when a man pulled a gun on an employee at 20th Street Package Liquor near 20th and Leavenworth just after 9 p.m. Friday., demanding money. The suspect ran from the store after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.
The store was robbed a week ago Friday and again last Monday afternoon. The owner says it was two men who held up the place both times and she believes those robberies were committed by the same men.
Omaha Police Officer James Shade told Channel 6 News Saturday that surveillance video hasn't been entered into evidence yet, so they aren't sure if any of the robberies are related.
Meanwhile, police in Council Bluffs are investigating the armed robbery of Cricket Cellular at 15th and West Broadway on Friday. A man got away with cash and several cell phones.
