Marian High School Girls Recovering From Crash Injuries

They survived a deadly crash. On Wednesday night, two families share the progress their daughters have made in their recoveries.

Mother and daughter sharing a moment that might not have been. Photos are being shared on the "Carly Anne Kelly's Road to Recovery" Facebook page. Her mom writing, "I kinda feel like someone hit the fast forward button on a Lifetime movie. Her progress, increased strength and spirit, is clearly nothing but divine intervention."

Kelly is no longer in the Intensive Care Unit. She was moved to the Pediatrics Ward on Tuesday.

Her friend, Maddie Shely, is also doing well. Shely is expected to go home this week and be back at school as early as Monday.

On Friday, October 11th, Kelly and Shely were critically injured in a crash that killed their friend. The accident happened in Gretna at 180th and Hwy 370.
