Update: Two Killed In Harrison County Crash Identified

Two people were killed on Monday morning after a crash in Harrison County, Iowa along I-29. They have been identified as 59-year-old William Griffin of Arkansas and 18-year-old Salvador Valdovinos of South Sioux City, Nebraska.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, Valdovinos was driving a pickup south on I-29 near mile marker 90 and went off the roadway just before 7 on Monday morning. Valdovinos over-corrected and lost control, then crossed the center median and slammed into the side of a semi truck, driven by 58-year-old Rebecca Griffin of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Griffin was flown by medical helicopter to Alegent Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha. Her passenger in the vehicle, William Griffin, was killed.
