Two Omaha businesses were caught serving alcohol to minors during a compliance check by the Nebraska State Patrol.
Officials checked 49 alcohol retail outlets in the Omaha metro area on June 13th. Of those, two were non-compliant: Big Horn Mountain BBQ, at 13th and Vinton, and D's Frontier, near 30th and Tucker.
In performing compliance checks, the NSP sends a minor in with their state-issued ID. It was paid for, in part, with a $2,640 grant from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety.
Officials said the department plans to conduct more compliance checks throughout the summer.
