A home near 8th and Redick Boulevard in Carter Lake went up in flames around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday.
The home is near Carter Lake Elementary. Crews from both Carter Lake and Crescent responded to the fire.
No one was hurt in the incident. The home was once the site of a daycare called "Chunky Monkey."
No cause has been given as to what started the fire. Check back here for updates throughout the day.
