Facebook says it can be used to find people, photos, and places of interest through its site. The company says Graph Search is only in the beginning stages and is only available in English. The announcement comes as the social media giant tries to improve features and attract ad dollars.

It looks like more Americans contributed to economic growth in December, as retail sales rose more than expected to end 2012 on a positive note.

Stocks ended the day mixed, as investors remain concerned about debt ceiling discussions and manufacturing in the New York region contracted.

Potential budget cuts from Sequestration could make it harder to enforce job discrimination laws, according to the American Federation of Government Employees. There's a chance up to $30 million from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission could be slashed.
