Here are the headlines from Tuesday's Bloomberg Market Report.

Delta's getting a bigger piece of the pie, when it comes to the lucrative New York to London route. The airline bought a 49% stake in Virgin Atlantic for $360 million.

Stocks closed higher Tuesday on optimism that progress was being made on budget talks in Washington. German investor confidence also climbed.

More Dollar General stores may be coming soon. The CEO says the market can absorb another 10,000.

FedEx is in the hot seat in a class action lawsuit, claiming FedEx and FedEx Corporate Services overcharged commercial and government customers as much as three dollars on millions of delivered packages. An internal email, unsealed in the lawsuit, said FedEx had been systematically overcharging customers for years and no action was taken to address it.

Expect to see changes to your Yahoo email. Yahoo revamped its email service to attract mobile users. The new design is supposed to be faster and easier to navigate. It is the first major product unveiling since CEO Marissa Mayer took over.
