Here are the headlines from Tuesday's Bloomberg Report.

Stocks ended the day mixed after another good report on housing, but shares of Hewlett Packard took a big tumble. They dropped 12 percent after allegations that a company they recently purchased falsified financial documents.

Good news for drivers. The price of oil fell from a one-month high after Hamas said a cease-fire with Israel was imminent.

The Federal Communications Commission is proposing to end a rule that prohibits ownership of newspapers and radio stations in the same market. The FCC Chairmen said the proposal was part of a broader set of rule changes involving cross-ownership of media outlets.

Teavana, the tea seller recently acquired by Starbucks, defended its tea saying they are safe. The comment comes after a short-seller report that the products were contaminated.
