A bench trial results in two misdemeanor convictions and a not guilty verdict on the single felony charge. It comes from a domestic violence case.
The Cassgram reports the trial of State vs. Randy L. Halderman Jr. was before Cass County District Court Judge Randall Rehmeier earlier this week.
Rehmeier found Halderman, of Louisville, not guilty of strangulation, a Class IV Felony, said Chief Deputy Cass County Attorney Colin Palm.
Halderman was found guilty of domestic assault, a Class I Misdemeanor, and interfering with a public service company (pulling the phone cord out of the wall), a Class II Misdemeanor.
Sentencing is January 9th.
