With just a few weeks before summer is over and school starts, there are still some good travel deals available for anyone still looking to make plans.
Jeanenne Tornatore with Orbitz says if you can take the heat in places like Las Vegas or Orlando, there are hotel room available at low prices. She says the average price in Orlando is $101 a night.
Tornatore also suggests Washington D.C. where, like Vegas and Orlando, room rates are relatively low. And once you get to D.C. the many Smithsonian museums and the National Zoo are free.
Tornatore also suggests saving money by packaging your trip: buying airfare and hotel together.
