Police and prosecutors are certain a man, arrested for domestic violence, told his victim/girlfriend to drop the charges against him.
Now Erick Mills faces a charge of tampering with a witness.
Mills is currently being held in the Douglas County Jail on $50,000 bond. He needs $5,000 to bond out.
According to the police report police taped the jailhouse phone call with the 22-year-old alleged victim and asked her if she was going to drop the charges against him.
The woman told him "hell no" but told investigators she couldn't testify because she was scared Mills or his family would come after her.
The original domestic violence charge was filed in October of 2012.
