Three men have received federal sentences for their involvement in the sale of illegal drugs in Nebraska.
A news release from the office of U.S. Attorney Deborah Gilg says 41-year-old Todd Hays, of Phoenix, was given 10 years for hauling cocaine and methamphetamine destined for Omaha.
The release says 39-year-old Frederico Garcia, of Shelby, was given nearly six years for conspiring to sell meth in the Columbus area.
And Gilg's office says 30-year-old Fermin Altamirano-Ramirez, of Omaha, was given 14 years for his role in a conspiracy to sell meth in Bellevue and south Omaha. A Mexican citizen, Altamirano-Ramirez will be deported after he leaves U.S. prison.
