Metro thieves broke into a vehicle and then found even more -- a code and keys to a storage locker. Bellevue Police are hoping Channel 6 viewers recognize one of the three thieves.
It started in Omaha at 125th and Q at the end of October.
Thieves broke into a pickup and took the keys and passcode to a Dino's Storage locker in Bellevue.
There are three thieves -- two men and a woman. Security records them driving a light gold colored Saturn Vue SUV.
They took the elevator and soon were walking out with a bunch of stuff. Two samurai swords worth $5,000 and professional camera equipment, also worth $5,000.
Bellevue detectives says the family is really disappointed with the latter since the owner recently died.
"The cameras especially since they have sentimental value," said Detective Fran Gallo with Bellevue police. "They're really concerned that they've lost this part of their loved ones possessions."
If you recognize any of the three in the Sarpy County Crimestoppers video -- call investigators at 402-592-STOP.
