A teenager was cited after his car veered off of Interstate 80 near Highway 370 in Sarpy County on Wednesday.
The sheriff's office says Nelson Tombe's reckless driving led to the rollover crash. Tombe was hospitalized in serious condition.
Investigators say he was speeding. “Going too close to people, around them, driving on the shoulder, just passing erratically, just bad driving,” said Sarpy County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Mark Topil.
