Teen Loses Car at Gunpoint

A teenager attempting to sell his car through a classified Web ad lost the vehicle at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of a metro mall.

At approximately 2 p.m., the 18-year-old owner of the Red, 2006 Acura RSX was accompanied by a friend and went to the parking lot of Oak View Mall to meet an alleged buyer who had responded to a posting on Craigslist.

The car owner was reportedly standing outside the vehicle when he was approached by four men. One pulled out a handgun, demanding the car keys and the teen's wallet. He handed them over.

The gunman also demanded a wallet from the car owner's friend but he didn't have one.

The gunman and his three accomplices drove off in the RSX.

No one was injured.
