A teenage girl is recovering after being shot in Omaha Saturday morning.
Police say 16-year-old Domonique Jones was walking through an alley just before 1 a.m. when she heard shots and took off running. Jones collapsed behind a house at 38th and Ames, suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to Alegent Creighton University Medical Center. Her injuries are not life threatening.
Two homes in the line of fire were struck by gunfire. Nobody else was hurt.
