Teen Gets Probation On Charges Stemming From Fatal Fremont Crash

A teenager who was street racing another vehicle that crashed near Fremont, killing three, has been sentenced to probation in juvenile court.

Quinton M Amundson of Fremont plead no contest to misdemeanor charges of willful reckless driving, engaging in a speed contest and driving left of center in juvenile court.

He was sentenced to 1 year probation in Juvenile court on Wednesday.

Prosecutors say Amundson was racing Jackson Blick in early June, when Blick lost control and crashed. Blick, Tyler Walling and Trey Hansen were killed. All three were students at Fremont High School.

A third passenger, Jake Burnside, survived.
