An 18-year-old man has been accused of making explosive materials at his west Omaha home near 114th and West Center Road.

Dakota Parsons' mother called police last week because she believed her son was making explosive materials by removing gun powder from fireworks and putting it in other containers.

Police found several burn marks on the driveway and garage floor.

They also found several Gatorade bottles with some sort of substance inside, and a number of M-60 fire crackers with their contents removed.
