Taylor Swift kicked off her Red World Tour with the first of two concerts in Omaha.
Thousands of fans -- many of them young girls -- arrived early at the CenturyLink Center.
They carried hand-made signs and wore red. In many cases, fans followed Swift's early attire choice by wearing sundresses and cowboy boots.
The tour opens in Omaha and ends in Nashville on September 21.
Besides Omaha, only a handful of other cities host two concerts over two days including St Louis, Newark, Orlando, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., St. Paul, Los Angeles, Kansas City, Glendale & Nashville.
On Wednesday, MECA officials said there were tickets available to the Thursday, March 14, concert date in Omaha.
