The final, unofficial results are in. The May General Election will be a race between incumbent Jim Suttle and City Councilwoman Jean Stothert.

When asked if he considered coming in second place a loss, incumbent Mayor Jim Suttle said, "No, I don't. I have framed the right results for the city and a vision to offer to the voters."

The excitement at the Jean Stothert camp was deafening inside the German American Society. Stothert told Channel 6 News she plans to keep pushing her message for the May election. She said her goal is to make Omaha a more vibrant community, one that is business-friendly and a city that people want to stay in.
