VIDEO UPDATE: Suspect Hit by Task Force SUV in Court Monday

A suspect is hit by officers as he was being chased, while they were attempting to bring him into custody, has been released from the hospital and now is behind bars.

A judge ordered Campos-Pina's bond set at $75,000, he will need 10% to get out of jail.

It was Friday afternoon, when members of the Metro Area Fugitive Task Force were attempting to take Ismael Campos-Pina into custody. Investigators says Campos-Pina was running from officers when he was hit by an SUV being driven by a member of the task force, he was treated and sent to the Nebraska Medical Center with cuts to his head.

Omaha Police told WOWT 6 News that Campos-Pina was booked into Douglas County jail Sunday for Felony Assault and Use of a Gun to Commit a Felony, these alleged crimes stemming from a shooting on February 25th near 24th and Q Street and the initial reason police were trying to take him into custody Friday.

The Douglas County Attorney's Office said Campos-Pina is set to appear in court Monday afternoon.
