Fremont Area Medical Center is offering a free class entitled “Living Well with Diabetes” for on-going education for individuals with diabetes. These interactive sessions focus on timely issues and topics of interests to individuals with diabetes, and their families.
“Living Well with Diabetes” is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., on the third floor of FAMC’s Health Park Plaza. This class is free and registration is not required.
Diabetes is a chronic, widespread condition that can seem difficult to manage. Untreated, it can result in heart disease and stroke, kidney and nerve damage, and affect eyesight, circulation and healing capacity.
FAMC’s diabetes education courses are accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators. For more information about this program or diabetes care, contact FAMC’s certified diabetes educator Kristina Saunders at (402) 727-3355.
