Students Will Keep 4-day Weeks

Conestoga students will remain on a four day school week. The district stays with the four-day week. There really wasn’t much discussion about changing it, said Superintendent Mark Sievering.

The Cassgram reports the one thing the administration did hear from patrons was their desire to go with a more consistent Tuesday through Friday schedule, and next year’s calendar will do that. In recent calendars there had been occasional weeks where classes were held on Mondays because of possible activity conflicts on other days.

The ’11-12 calendar includes only one Monday with classes, the Monday before Thanksgiving.
