Students To Compete In Nebraska Trapshooting Meet

More than 2,000 junior and senior high school students are expected to compete in Nebraska's annual trapshooting competition.

The 43rd annual contest is scheduled from Thursday through
Saturday on the home grounds of the Nebraska Trapshooting
Association in Doniphan. Students are expected from Nebraska and
several other states.

The competition is broken into team and individual divisions.
Junior high students will shoot on Thursday, and high school
students will compete over the following two days. The overall
champion will be awarded the Cornhusker Cup on Saturday.

The association's home grounds are three miles south of Interstate 80, on U.S. Highway 281. The event is sponsored by the trapshooting association and the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.
