The Douglas County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit and Omaha Exploring are hosting a CSI day for co-ed youth ages 14 to 20 on January 21st from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The CSI investigators will demonstrate and guide youth through various parts of the crime scene investigation process from evidence collection, shoe impressions, blood splatters finger prints and more. There will also be a mock crime scene that will be open to investigation.
The event has only 50 spots available so interested youth will need to sign up fast. To sign up, just log on to www.omahaexploring.org and click on the upcoming events tab.
