Nothing brightens up the holiday season like a visit from children. Eighth-graders from a Saint Wenceslaus social justice class paid a visit to senior citizens at the New Cassel Retirerment Center at 90th and Western in Omaha on Thursday.
The students helped with the bingo. “They're sitting with them, helping them find the numbers, helping repeat numbers if the callers aren’t being loud enough,” said teacher Rachel Kruger. "I hope the kids learn to give back to the community, you know, spend some quality time with some elderly."
