The BETA club at Westside High School held its annual international fair Tuesday afternoon.
Students set up 25 booths that helped to explain various cultures from around the world. Participants could buy a passport for $1 and try different foods indigenous to different countries.
BETA Co-President, Cailyn Ludwig, says it’s all about getting students to learn something new.
“My favorite part is seeing all the kids come together and look at everyone’s booth,” says Ludwig. “They see the different countries that are within our community and more specifically within Westside and its just a neat thing to see.”
The money raised will go towards supporting the club.
