Students Broaden Knowledge Of Careers With Help From Omaha Businesses

Students got a taste for all things science, engineering and technology on Tuesday as part of a Science Fair at King Science and Technology Magnet Middle School in Omaha.

Speakers from businesses all over the metro took part, to spark an interest for future science majors. Lauritzen Gardens, OPPD, Union
Pacific and many more were there to explain the opportunities that students could take advantage of in the future.

Teachers say it was a great way for students to get excited about different careers.

The 7th and 8th grade students also created science projects which were judged by nearly 45 guest judges from the community.
This was the 2nd year for the event.
