Street sweepers will start cleaning up around Bellevue on Monday.
The city hopes to have the main streets and residential areas swept by the second week in May.
The Public Works Department says residents can help the effort by raking or sweeping any sand from the right of way onto the street.
The right of way is from the sidewalk to the curb. Just spread it out on the street and don't leave any piles of sand so the sweeper can pick it up.
