In the first case, an Omaha woman is charged with child neglect after her three-year-old child is found walking the streets at 3AM.
According to police reports, officers were called to the area of 41st & Hamilton on Friday April 22nd when a neighbor noticed a young child walking near the street.
Officers found the child and contacted the child's uncle who lived nearby.
The child's 22-year-old mother was eventually located in an alley behind the house having sex with a man in a van.
Officers believe the child woke up and went looking for the mother.
In a separate case, another Omaha woman is charged with four counts of child neglect.
Officers were flagged down near 24th & Kansas by 55-year-old Shawn Williams last Sunday around 5:30PM. Williams told officers four children she was babysitting were missing from her backyard.
The report states that Williams was uncooperative and withholding details from officers. Williams said the children were missing for about 20 minutes and that she had not called 911.
An hour later, another relative showed up at Williams home with the children, aged 11, 10, and two seven year-olds.
Williams forgot she had turned the children over to another relative and was issued a citation.
