The trees in Benson took a beating from the wind and rain of Monday’s micro-storm. The squall quickly blew through the neighborhood catching many off guard.

Some were lucky to escape with just a little damage.

It may not look like much but this branch narrowly missed jessie hubbard. Hubbard had been debating whether or not to move his girlfriend's car.

Jessie Hubbard says, "I was telling her we ought to move the car and she told me no and two seconds later that branch just came falling down. It was pretty cool and then she looked at me like I told you so. It's one of those deals." 55

Taylor Kimball says, “It just happens man."

The couple's luck extends to other family members as well.

Taylor Kimball says, “My step-dad usually parks his car right there and that would have definitely smashed into that car, more than definitely. If it was sitting there his truck would have been gone."

Now Taylor and Jessie start the clean up, along with their Benson neighbors.
