Store Alarm Scares Off Would-Be Robbers
The sounding of a store alarm scared off a pair of would-be armed robbers Sunday morning.
Two men believes to be in their 20s entered the Family Dollar at North 30th Street and Newport Avenue around 9:45 a.m., pulled a gun and demanded money. When someone set off the store alarm, the suspects ran from the business empty-handed.
