You'll notice a big difference at the next game you see at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha.
Crews have been dismantling the scoreboard today.
The MECA CEO says after 10 years, it's time for an update.
Soon, the arena will be the first non-professional sports venue to have the newest display technology.
“It's like 2700 times more visible than our old board. That in itself, it's going to be like you're sitting in your living room watching the highest definition tv that you possibly can,” says Roger Dixon, CEO of MECA.
The new scoreboard will be the equivalent of 330 55' TVs.
All equipment is being upgraded to high-definition, and the screens will use four millimeter and six millimeter pixel configuration.
MECA says more upgrades will be coming to the CenturyLink Center soon.
