The College of Saint Mary Campus Ministry team is working alongside the Christian Appalachian Project to be part of their Workfest Alternative Spring Break.
CAP is a Kentucky-based, non-profit Christian organization, “committed to serving people in need in Appalachia by providing physical, spiritual and emotional support....”
At WorkFest, students serve in teams to repair substandard housing and build new homes for low-income families in Eastern Kentucky.
The team has raised $2,200 so far, but need an additional $2,000 to meet outstanding expenses.
