Speeding Could Lead To Prison

Marijuana charge filed.

Scott Tingelhoff, Saunders County Attorney, reports Daniel Huismann was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver, a class III Felony, which has a maximum sentence of up to 20 years imprisonment, No Drug Tax Stamp, a class IV Felony, which has a maximum sentence of up to 5 years imprisonment. He is scheduled to appear in the Saunders County Court for a Felony First Appearance on March 6, 2013 at 9:00 a.m.

On January 19, 2013, a deputy with the Saunders County Sheriff’s Department observed a vehicle speeding. After speaking with Huismann, the officer asked Husimann to have a seat in his patrol car. During the investigation, the deputy located a marijuana pipe. The deputy then searched the vehicle and found several items that are used when selling and distributing marijuana.
