A benefit spaghetti dinner to help an Omaha boy battling brain cancer will be held this Saturday.
Eight-year-old Justin Easdale had brain surgery in January to remove a large malignant brain tumor that threatened his life and is now undergoing radiation therapy to ensure the cancer does not spread. Justin is being treated with radiation and chemotherapy for six weeks followed by chemotherapy for about six months.
The benefit will be from 5:30-8 p.m. at Westside Church, 15050 West Dodge Road. Tickets for the dinner are $10 and must be purchased at justins-journey.ticketbud.com.
Donations to help the family defray the cost of deductibles, transportation and other expenses they are incurring may also be made at gofundme.com.
