Omaha police suspended the investigation of property damage accidents. Only call if vehicles are immovable or if there are injuries requiring transport to the hospital.

Near northwest Lincoln, a three-mile section of Interstate 80 was closed Sunday morning because of multiple accidents, including two semis that leaked fuel. No serious injuries were reported. The interstate reopened shortly before 1 p.m.

A stretch of Interstate 80 in Des Moines was closed for more than an hour due to a 20-car pileup, but no serious injuries were reported. Southbound Interstate 29 was closed in Sioux City because an accident was blocking the lanes.

An Omaha woman was taken to the hospital after crashing into a tree on State Street near Wenningoff Road around 2:45 a.m. Thirty-one-year-old Melissa Rosin lost control of her westbound vehicle and suffered a broken leg.
