UPDATE: Shooting Victim Walks Into Nebraska Medical Center
A shooting victim tells police that he was flagged down by another man who said he needed a ride. After getting into the vehicle, the other man started firing a gun.
The incident was reported at 10:19pm Monday night. The victim, 30-year-old Aaron Whitehill, crashed his vehicle into a retraining wall and fence.
He managed to get a ride to the Nebraska Medical Center with the help of a friend. Whitehill's wound is not considered life threatening.
Police had no information about a possible suspect.
