Search For Accident Victim

Several agencies were involved in a search for a man in a vehicle last night. Cass County law enforcement records show sheriff’s deputies, the Nebraska State Patrol and Louisville Fire and Rescue were dispatched at 10:25pm. The man had called the dispatch center and said he had been en route from Louisville to Manley, had gone off the road and was unsure of his location.

The Cassgram reports call logs indicate the vehicle was located near 156th and Waverly Road and reports say it was about 15 feet off the road in a waterway. Cass County Emergency Management Agency responded.

The man was transported by Louisville Rescue and reports indicate that Papillion advanced life support was contacted along the way. The individual was taken to the Creighton University Medical Center trauma center.
