The 12th annual Santa at the Southeast Precinct event is set for Sunday December 8, 2013 from 12p.m. to 4p.m. at South High School, 4519 South 24th Street.

Over 20,000 people have attended the annual Santa visit throughout the years. The Midlands Latino Community Development Corporation (MLCDC) will join with a touch of different cultures and traditions.

Families who attend have the opportunity to see Santa and Omaha Police Officers, receive safety information, receive treats and toys from the officers, and visit the various MLCDC tables that highlight how Christmas is celebrated in different countries.

The festivities will include musical performances by South High students, as well as other performances, information tables, lots of fun activities, and refreshments.

Omaha Police are looking for volunteers and donations. To volunteer, contact Ofelia Robles at orobles@ci.omaha.ne.us or 402-444-7743.
