Leads are being followed in rural burglary investigation. Cass County sheriff’s deputies responded to a burglary Wednesday evening in rural Murdock.
The Cassgram reports Cass County Sheriff Wm. C Brueggemann says the reporting party said that someone broke into his home while he was gone, between 2:30pm and 7pm, and that firearms were missing.
Access to the residence was gained by prying open the back door. Several firearms along with jewelry items were stolen. The value of stolen items is estimated at approximately $11,500.
The ongoing investigation has yielded a suspect, says Brueggemann.
