It’s a good thing that a Lincoln man has a good memory. He recognized one of the five men who robbed him last month. Now police have the first suspect in custody.
The victim says on December 4th, he was turning home from the grocery store when the five men confronted him near 14th and D streets. They robbed him of the cash in his wallet.
The victim recognized one of the men, 20-year-old Bryon Reyes Cortez, as the family member of a former co-worker. Police arrested Cortez Wednesday. They are still working to identify the four other men.
