You don't need a guitar or drums to make music. Sometimes it's all improvising.
That's the message the percussion group STOMP shared Friday in Omaha. They were in town over the weekend for a show but made a stop at the Nebraska Medical Center to let some young patients catch their act.
They say it's important for children to know music of any kind can provide therapy.
Cast member Jason Mills said, "I feel like it's a particular challenge. You can't just phone that in. Or just go into it thinking you know what's going to happen."
It's all part of a very busy weekend for STOMP. They performed Friday night at the Orpheum Theater followed by two more shows on Saturday.
