Reverse Thanksgiving Day Delivery

Many groups and churches are helping feed the needy today but one pair of churches are doing it with style.

You may have seen Ollie the Trolley rolling through your neighborhood.

Ollie was looking the homeless, poor and lonely and dropping them off at St. Peter Church at 28th and Leavenworth.

Once inside the gymnasium visitors were entertained by Johnny Ray Gomez and fed a traditional Thanksgiving Day meal.

St. Peter along with Kountze Memorial Lutheran joined forces to feed the hungry; more parishioners volunteered than expected.

Kevin Engelkamp says, "We make up jobs. Last year we started an escort service to take people to their tables. We have a job for just about everything. Everybody will get a to go lunch so we have a "to go" crew that makes all of the "to go" lunches."

Engelkamp says he expects about 350 people to eat the Thanksgiving Day meal, the same number of meals they served last Thanksgiving.
