Cats doing well and expected to be ready for adoption this week .The 33 cats removed from a mobile home in Plattsmouth on April 9th have been medicating, said Plattsmouth Animal Control Officer Sue Baker.
The Cassgram reports her department and volunteers have been taking care of simple medical things such as parasites and upper respiratory along with veterinarians are providing care for some pretty major dental problems and ear mite treatment.
Baker: “Right now our vet bill is close to $2000. Happy Paws, Plattsmouth Animal Advocacy Group, has been able to provide this vet care with a grant from Chowder's Promise, an animal welfare organization, and other donations received. But this money will run out very soon. If people would like to help they can send any donations to Happy Paws, C/O Betty Henry, 107 S 8th St, Plattsmouth.”
